Marte Dì Musica

For some time now, we have been denied a freedom which has always been our routine. Paradoxically, before we felt tight for one reason, now we feel tight for another one. The human being, so habitual and so unable to get out of his own comfort zone, found himself face to face with something bigger than him and invisible at the same time. Never, as in this period, have we been forced to reinvent ourselves - I am talking above all about those categories that have been cut off from aid and that earn only if they work ... music, one of them!

Let's say that music, in Italy, has never been considered a job, but just a hobby; however, I can confirm that there is a huge work behind the final result, and that without a spirit of sacrifice and dedication it would not be possible. Francesco De Gregori and Lucio Dalla used to sing “But how do sailors recognize the stars”; I ask myself “But how do artists find the courage and strength to go on”, even though the system does nothing but discourage them. I can't answer for others, but I can answer for myself. There is an unstoppable fire burning within each of us. There are those who feed it, those who ignore it, turning it off, and those who maintain it. I have always nourished it, as I believe dreams manifest themselves to those who have the courage to fight and persevere for them and in them; so let’s go on, regardless of everything that happens around, including difficulties ... and who is an artist, you know.

I always try to make up a reason and a way to make music and to involve all of you, also to overcome together this difficult moment, which has overwhelmed and upset our daily habits and the economy of many of us. For this reason I thought of creating an appointment that, while keeping us behind a screen, could make us feel closer. Therefore, every Tuesday, at 7:30 pm, on my YouTube Channel, there was the premiere of a new video associated with a new piece. The event, ended yesterday, will return in alternate months. My aim is to let you fully enter my world and my music, in order to introduce you to my entire discography, accompanying each piece with a video clip. The pieces proposed for this month are from the album Lo Specchio (2018), produced and distributed by Believe Digital and the winner of the Web Talent V.I.T.A.. It is a moment I love to remember: many of you have supported me with so much affection and enthusiasm, and certain things are not forgotten. As on that occasion, in this one too you have have been very generous with me, and I thank you from my heart.
